Chosen as Time Magazine’s Man of the (20th) Century, Albert Einstein is universally honored as one of the great minds in human history. He was a strong advocate of world government. Einstein on Peace is recommended reading.
On February 15, 1950, he delivered an address on NBC television titled, “Peace in the Atomic Era.” Here is an excerpt from that speech:
“The first problem is to do away with fear and mistrust, Solemn renunciation of violence is necessary. Such renunciation, however, can only be effective if at the same time a supra national judicial and executive body is set up, empowered to decide questions of immediate concerns to the security of Nations.” He also asserted “There is no salvation for civilization, or even the human race, other than the creation of a world government.”
